A business leader in Kansas City, Kansas, Tom Houlehan heads daily operations at both Grand Prix Global Concierge and Tom & Jerry Inc. Since 2014, Mr. Houlehan has concurrently served as the primary investor, board member, and vice president of OYO Fitness. Working to empower the Kansas City nonprofit community for more than 40 years, Nonprofit Connect honors a new group of Rising Stars of Philanthropy each year at its Philanthropy Awards Luncheon. Over the past 34 years, the organization has recognized the considerable philanthropic impact of more than 200 individuals and organizations.
To choose its annual Rising Stars of Philanthropy, Nonprofit Connect searches for the “next generation of volunteer leadership in Kansas City.” Recipients of this honor generally build upon the finest philanthropic traditions of the past to engender a better future.
